Pink Tourmalines

This gemstone that comes in shades of pink can resemble cotton candy and deeper pinks. It is one of the most beautiful tourmalines known to man. Rubellite, the name given to the deeper pink to the reddish variety of tourmaline, is also much rarer than Rubies and Red Spinels thus making it highly desirable. Misidentified on the Russian crown jewels for years, Rubellites did not receive the importance they deserve. Today the gems are mined in regions of Afghanistan, Brazil and Madagascar, forming in long trigonal crystals. The brilliant transparency of the stones works for it, enabling cutters to fashion stones in different new cutting styles.

On this page we have some samples of our wide collection of Pink Tourmalines.
