Pink sapphire 1.21 carats is available in pale baby pink to light Pink and intense magenta. Pink sapphires have increased in availability after the discovery of new deposits in Madagascar in the late 1990s. During that time, they were an exceptionally rare since they could only be found in few places around the world like Sri Lanka and Myanmar. Its origin was first found in Sri Lanka. They feature a 6.4x6.4x4mm size and due to how scarce they are, stones measuring half a carat or more aren’t cut into calibrated sizes.Instead , each stone is cut to maintain its rough texture , hence most are mixed cut.
