It weighs 4.40 carat. For identification, the gem is referred to as “Natural Purplish Red Spinel”. Its color, however, is Purplish Red. It is oval shaped which gives it an elliptical shape if you view it from the top. The oval shape is particularly beautiful, and it's well proportionate cut giving it a great scintillation plus fire. This gem measures 11.95x8.55x6.17mm, very eye clear and originates from Sri Lanka. The gem also has no treatment. The gemstone is in its natural state making its features appear more clearly.
